Before you can manipulate, move, transform, or edit an object, you must first select it. This tells SiteSpinner™ which object it is that you want to work with.
A selected object will appear outlined in the Work Window with a dotted bounding box. Depending on the editing mode you are working in, a selected object may also display various transformation controls.
The simplest way to select an object is to click it with your mouse. Sometimes, however, objects may be positioned on top of one another so that when you attempt to select one, you select the wrong one.
To select an object that is hidden behind another object, hold the Shift key down while you click your mouse. You will see the object’s bounding box, even if you can’t see its contents. If it’s hidden behind multiple objects, keep clicking until it is selected. (For more information, see Z Order (Layers).)
You can also quickly select all objects that are above or below a selected object’s Z order. Or, you can select all objects that are positioned on the page to the right or to the left of a selected object.
Use any of the following procedures to select an object:
Click the visible object once in the Work Window.
Select an object from the Object Selection combo box of the Page Bar.
Press the Tab key to select the next ordered object on the current page.
Press the Shift+Tab keyboard shortcut to select the previous ordered object on the current page.
Use either of the following procedures to select an object on a page other than the page displaying in the Work Window:
In the Quick Properties Editor dialog box:
The outline of the selected object is now visible on the current page.
In the Object Editor dialog box:
The bounding box outline of the selected object is now visible on the current page.
Use any of the following procedures to select an object that is not visible or is obscured behind other objects:
Place your mouse in the approximate area in the Work Window where the hidden object is located, press the SHIFT key, and click your mouse. Keep clicking until the object you want is selected.
Press the Tab key repeatedly until the object on the page is selected.

OR
To select all objects positioned to the right of the object, select Select, and then select Select All To Right.
