When you convert a temporary group of selected objects into a permanent group, you are actually creating a brand new object. All the manipulations you can perform on a temporary group you can also perform on a permanent group.
However, because a permanent group is actually a separate object, you can edit it as you would any object, such as the following:
Apply shading to the interior of group object. For more information, see Shading Component.
Add a border to the group object. For more information, see Borders and Outlines.
Change the re-rendering file format. For more information, see Rendering and Re-Rendering.
Apply a hyperlink. For more information, see Hyperlinking.
When there is a conflict between the permanent group object itself and objects in the group, the permanent group object will take priority.
You can ungroup the objects and dissolve their permanent group at any time. Any repositioning, re-alignment, or transformations you made to the objects as a group will persist, but any attributes applied to the group will disappear.
Use any of the following methods to form a temporary group:
In the Work Window, click an object to select it, press and hold the CTRL key, and then click to select as many additional objects as desired.
Click the Work Window away from the objects you wish to make into a temporary group and drag your mouse pointer over them to draw a bounding box.
To form a temporary group consisting of all objects on the page, select Edit>Select All or press the CTRL+A keyboard shortcut.
A bounding box will surround the selected objects indicating the formation of a temporary group, and the Status Bar at the bottom of the Work Window will indicate how many objects are selected.
You may now move, scale, rotate, skew, align, or resize the objects relative to one another as a group. For more information, see Object Names, Move Object, Transform Object, and Editing Objects.

Select Arrange>Group.
A new group object will be created in the project.

An included object cannot be part of a group and also appear on other pages. If you add an included object to a group it will no longer appear on any other pages. Once it is removed from the group it will reappear on the pages it is included on. If you want the included object to appear on the other pages you must “include” the group on those pages
Use any of the following procedures to dissolve a permanent group and disassociate formerly grouped objects from one another:
Right-click the permanent group object, and then select Ungroup Objects
Select
the permanent group object, and then click the Ungroup button:
in the Align Bar
Select the permanent group object, and then select Arrange>Ungroup.
Any repositioning, re-alignment, or transformations made to the objects as a group will persist, but any edits made to the group object will disappear.
