With the page Centering setting, SiteSpinner™ offers a unique method for overcoming uncertainties about target resolution and browser size. If you apply this setting to your page, you can be certain that its contents will always fit your user’s browser window.
A page using the Centering feature will always stay in the horizontal center of the page if the browser window is larger then the page. If the browser window is smaller, the page’s right side will not be visible. This page-level positioning attribute can be used even if objects have been given Absolute, Relative, or No CSS Positioning attributes.
Using relative positioning with page centering may produce unexpected results.
To set a page to use Centering, click to select the Center Page Horizontally option box on the Special Effects Tab of the Page Editor dialog box. You may then click the All Pages button to apply Centering to all pages in the project. For more information, see Page Editor Dialog Box.
Be sure that the content of your page is contained within the boundaries of the Target Resolution Guide Border. For more information, see Target Resolution Guide Border.
The Page Editor dialog box will open. For more information, see Page Editor Dialog Box.
