An object’s geometry component also includes a vector outline. You can edit the outline to apply a rectangular colored border to any object, except rectangle, ellipse, polygon, or curve objects. Editing the vector outline of rectangle, ellipse, polygon, or curve objects affects the line width and color of the objects themselves. (For more information, see Outline Tab.)
For many users, editing a border or outline is the extent of any editing operations they perform on an object’s geometry component.
To edit borders and outlines, use the Outline Tab of the Geometry Editor dialog box or the Outline Tab of the Quick Properties Editor dialog box.
