Toolbars

You can use tools available from the toolbars to help you work with your pages, page content, and overall web project. SiteSpinner® Pro toolbars include the following:

Although many are identical to the options available from the menu bar menus, the tools in the toolbars are designed to be handy when you are working directly with objects and other page elements. Use the undocking feature to move toolbars to the part of the page you are currently working on.

You can undock a toolbar from its current position in the Work Window by clicking its handle to select the toolbar and then dragging the toolbar to another position in the Work Window. When you release the mouse after undocking a toolbar, its handle disappears. So, if you want to move it again, click and drag the caption bar or right-click on the caption bar and select Move. The mouse pointer will change to a crosshairs, which you can use to move the toolbar again. For more information, see Toolbar Options Dialog Box.

To dock the toolbar, click its handle and drag it to the top, bottom, or left edge of the Work Window. As the toolbar approaches the edge of the window, release it, and it will automatically dock. (You may prevent the toolbar from docking by pressing the CTRL key while dragging.)

You may also choose to hide or unhide a toolbar or set its size to either normal or large. For more information, see Toolbar Options Dialog Box.

The locations of all toolbars are saved to the system when you exit SiteSpinner® Pro. They will reappear in their saved locations when you restart the program.

As with many Windows® applications, SiteSpinner® Pro’s toolbar buttons offer “tooltips.” When you rest your mouse pointer over a toolbar button, the tooltip tells you what the button does.

Resting your mouse pointer over a toolbar button shows the button’s tooltip.
